Here’s the port for 1.21.2, quick as always thanks to our new development layout. This version has tons and tons of minor changes and fixes, but nothing major aside from switching everything to use the 1.21.2 format.
Additions
- Wrenches can now be repaired with copper
- Boomerangs can now be repaired with planks
- Cursed crowns now prevent piglins from attacking you
Changes
- The rarities of items have been updated to match 1.21.2’s format
- This just changes the name colors of several items to match vanilla, i.e. pottery sherds being “uncommon” (yellow)
- The gobblerift, nether reactor, and soul seer have been made emissive
- The entire pack has been updated to use 1.21.2 component tech
- This means that the resource pack should automatically be compatible with most other resource packs without needing to weld it.
- RIP custom model data, you will not be missed.
Removals
Both below features were implemented into the base game, so they were removed.
That’s a great sign we’re doing good vanilla+ work. Thanks, Mojang!
- Dyed bundles
- Better beehive silk-touching
Fixes
- #247: Geomancer pillars deal damage through shields
- #248: Custom blocks do not average their light properly
- #249: The tangling pearl teleports items before other data packs can edit them, causing compatibility issues
- #252: Locket of learning compendium entry still lists enchanters as an alternate source
